You are calling an overloaded routine name (plus) directly or indirectly (ie
some UDT defines a 'plus' function for addition with some type). There seem to
be more than one such function that could be used for the operation. Could be
more than one function named plus with different argument or return
signatures, but you are calling it with arguments that could be auto converted
to satisfy the args or more than one version of the function. You can
disambiguate by:
- dropping one or more versions of the function
- explicitely casting the arguments so that the call is no longer ambiguous.

Hi Experts,
We have IDS9.40UC1 on Linux. We run the python scripts that automatically run
and create the database and then perform DML operations.
Now when we run one of the tool, it gives error:

IX000: Routine (plus) ambiguous - more than one routine resolves to given
signature.
We run this tool serveral times but did not get any error. But this time we
are getting the above error.
Please suggest something to resolve the issue.
Thanks in Advance
Gulshan
