Database without transactions in WAS

Hi: In websphere I need to use a connection pooling with a database that have no transactions. I configured a datasource but I do not found any place to tell that ti Websphere. The application is a web application and works fine if I use a jdbc connection made by hand. Can anyone help me ? Thanks Sérgio Ferreira
