I just logged in to my Informix server and ran.....
$ set | egrep "^IN|^TERM"
INFORMIXDIR=/usr/informix
INFORMIXSERVER=ktest
INFORMIXSQLHOSTS=/usr/informix/etc/sqlhostsTERM=dtterm
TERMCAP=/usr/informix/etc/termcap
TERMINAL_EMULATOR=dtterm
dbaccess runs fine with the above settings.
