Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

We are running Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.30.UC3 on various
Solaris 2.6 hosts. We have the problem that after a user has logged on,
his password can expire and he can no longer attach to the database.
This problem is much worse if the user schedules a critical job to run in the
next day or two and his password expires before he logs in again.
In our application, we use "EXEC SQL DATABASE $db_name;" to
connect the user to the server.
This appears to be a new "feature" of IDS 7.3.
Any suggestions?
