It is possible that I am confusing NE_DATA with NE_INSTDATA because we had this problem a long time ago. However, pre_body variables are equivalent to modular variables in 4GL which means that they are global to the file, and would be treated like a global. > How do i split up a program into DLLs ? You can put windows in a DLL. The only function that you need to have outside in an exe is MAIN and a DLL can call another DLL however you can't have two DLLs calling functions in each other. If you use modular/global/shared variables, make sure they are not in a library because if you use the lib in a number of DLLs, you will actually get multiple copies of the global variable (a copy in each DLL). You can also use DLLs if your p-code is too big and specify the DLLs as parameters to the debugger. The debugger help file talks about this. > --- _ > // Tom Beuke Mail : > tob@blanker.ruhr.de > _ // Westhoffstr.13-15 Tel. : +49 231 839757 > \\X/ 44145 Dortmund > --- > 5 Kilometer zum Nachbarn, 18 Kilometer zum Arzt, 889 Kilometer zur > Tochter, > 3 Schritte zum Telefon, 2000,-DM Telefonrechnung im Monat ...
