Trouble with IECC

Hello out there, currently I'm trying to set up IECC. With hosts on the same subnet I've no problems. But if I try to include a host on a different IECC, I'm getting only the error message A problem with the connection to the server has been detected I've set up a file called c:\\informix\\etc\\iecc.adr with the adresses of the hosts within the other subnets and created an environment variable OSAGENT_ADDR_FILE, but the error do not go away. Nevertheless I can view the databases and tables within IECC after entering the correct password. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance Dirk Scheer
You cannot connect to hosts on multiple sub-nets at the same time. IECC will read the file and only find agents on the same sub-net as the first machine listed. Also, all of the machines that you will connect to need to be registered in setnet32 beforehand. Sounds like you haven't defined them to setnet. The reason you can view tables is that the sql viewer and the table admin tools use a different method to connect than the IECC console.
