Daniel, I wasn't trying to imply anything different. The point I was making was that if there was going to be a major player porting to Apple, Oracle would be there first because of Jobs/Ellison's relationship. I think Larry sits on Apple's board, no? What I was saying was that you had said that Oracle had already been there done that and decided that it was time to move on. That's all buddy, so take a chill pill. >From: DA Morgan <damorgan@psoug.org> >To: informix-list@iiug.org >Subject: Re: Well he started it!!! wuz Re: IDS on a Mac? >Date: Tue, 06 Nov 2007 18:06:04 -0800 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from perform.iiug.org ([216.177.38.211]) by >bay0-mc6-f5.bay0.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(6.0.3790.2668); Tue, 6 >Nov 2007 18:10:17 -0800 >Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])by perform.iiug.org >(Postfix) with ESMTP id D09F89FCF;Tue, 6 Nov 2007 21:10:13 -0500 (EST) >Received: from perform.iiug.org ([127.0.0.1])by localhost (perform.iiug.org >[127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024)with ESMTP id xihw3qYrCEgj; Tue, 6 >Nov 2007 21:10:09 -0500 (EST) >Received: by perform.iiug.org (Postfix, from userid 60001)id 2BF1A9FF1; >Tue, 6 Nov 2007 21:10:09 -0500 (EST) >Received: from perform.iiug.org (localhost [127.0.0.1])by perform.iiug.org >(Postfix) with ESMTP id 247EA9FD4;Tue, 6 Nov 2007 21:10:04 -0500 (EST) >X-Message-Delivery: Vj0zLjQuMDt1cz0wO2k9MDtsPTA7YT0w >X-Message-Info: >E4hhm4+eWHNXpntwjjx3yyfoNQRAAL0ggkfuMDaS5iYXfj2/WdjVn4uLYRm10J6bxCuMaqQWr8iac+SmWsE4Hg== >X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at iiug.org >Path: >nnrp.xmission!xmission!nntp.infostrada.it!newsfeed01.sul.t-online.de!newsfeed00.sul.t-online.de!t-online.de!novia!novia!nx02.iad01.newshosting.com!newshosting.com!post01.iad01!not-for-mail >Organization: Puget Sound Oracle Users Group >User-Agent: Thunderbird 2.0.0.6 (Windows/20070728) >Newsgroups: comp.databases.informix >References: <mailman.18.1194395328.29115.informix-list@iiug.org> >Cache-Post-Path: bubbleator.drizzle.com!unknown@216.162.218.178 >X-Cache: nntpcache 3.0.1 (see http://www.nntpcache.org/) >Lines: 25 >X-Complaints-To: abuse@csolutions.net >Xref: nnrp.xmission comp.databases.informix:199860 >X-BeenThere: informix-list@iiug.org >X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.6 >Precedence: list >List-Id: "comp.databases.informix" <informix-list.iiug.org> >List-Unsubscribe: ><http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list>,<mailto:informix-list-request@iiug.org?subject=unsubscribe> >List-Archive: <http://www.iiug.org/pipermail/informix-list> >List-Post: <mailto:informix-list@iiug.org> >List-Help: <mailto:informix-list-request@iiug.org?subject=help> >List-Subscribe: ><http://www.iiug.org/mailman/listinfo/informix-list>,<mailto:informix-list-request@iiug.org?subject=subscribe> >Errors-To: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org >Return-Path: informix-list-bounces@iiug.org >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 07 Nov 2007 02:10:18.0059 (UTC) >FILETIME=[57ABA1B0:01C820E3] > >Ian Michael Gumby wrote: > > Well *he* started it. > > > > It was about IDS on Mac. > > I thought that it was interesting because Oracle would have been there > > first. > > > > Turns out it was.
