Data Entry Question

We have an Informix data entry question: We are able to enter the following data using a form: c1 b1 c2 b2 d n However we would like some automatic way to have the same data rearranged in order to also input: c2 b2 c1 b1 d n without having to exit the form and re-keying all the data. Is there any way to have Informix SE do this within isql? We have begun to look at triggers to see if that would help, but we are stuck at this point. Perhaps there is some way to call a subroutine or batch program to do the job, but we don't know how. We do not have 4GL and are running Informix SE 5.01 UD2 on SUN OS 4.1.3.
