FWIW, Just yesterday, I managed to get an Informix OnLine 5.10 engine running under Linux. I did this using Linux version 1.2.5 - installed off a CD I purchased from a company called Pacific HiTech (http://www.pht.com). As mentioned by someone else, I also had to get the iBCS module running and I needed a copy of SCO's shared libraries (from /shlib). I had originally tried to get a dynamic server version running, but my version of Linux doesn't have all the required pieces. I also haven't tried to get any tools (4GL, etc) running yet. If anyone has specific questions, you can e-mail me direct. But, I'm not a Linux expert!
