multiple insert

Hello: I hope someone can help me. I am working with c using illustra. I have a structure like this struct { int var1, var2, var3; char var4; } struct_var[2000]; with approximately 2000 register. I want to known if i can insert all the register at the same time. I did this once using some DBMS (allbase) the command used was bulk insert. My question is: illustra has some equivalent command to the bulk insert? How can i do this? Thanks for your help. Cristina
