Commandcenter hangs

I'm having a problem with Informix Commandcenter of an Informix 7.22 TC 1 installation on a german NT 4.0 server with SP 1. The commandcenter can be started without problems and shows the Informix instance (named OT_NTCENTRO) ok. But as soon as one tries to connect to this instance by whatever means (choosing it from the combobox, double clicking) command center hangs. The busy cursor appears and thats it.
