help with assert failures

Hi, A client has an Informix instance version 9.40 UC4 running on sunfire -V440 running Solaris 9. Last week it crashed due to a bad external power supply. Ever since then they are periodically getting assert fails of what looks like 2 types below: My problem is that they have no informix maintenance contract and don't want to use time and materials. So I'm asking if there are any ideas as to how I may figure out the cause and or try some things that may be a workaround. They say nothing has changed in the code or the OS, there is nothing showing in the OS messages.log. Onstats appear normal to me, nothing glaring. There doesn't appear to be any specific sql running at the different times of failures etc... Thanks for any advice. If your customer doesn't want to buy the maintenance, fair enough. But they have to lie in the bed they have made for themselves .. >> and don't want to use time and materials. Jesus! They don't really want it fixed then, do they? Why are you bothering?
