Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Subject: Informix 4gl Query
Whilst I have a MS SQL background, I need assistance with the
following please:-
I have a table with the following structure:-
customer_id; text_line_number; text_info
Each customer_id can have several records, each with a different
text_line_number
I need to consolidate all the records in a new table so that there is
one record for each customer_id and the text_info fields are
consolidated
eg:-
customer_id 7777;
text_line_number 1;
text_info abc;
customer_id 7777;
text_line_number 2;
text_info def;
becomes - in the consolidated record
customer_id 7777;
text_info abc def;
Any assistance would be appreciated
Thanks
Gary
