A customer use ER in IDS10 on HP, currently they use BI-DIRECT ER replication, for example A<-->B, they have about more than one hundred need to be replicated. Currently the CPU usage of Box A reach about 50%. They want to add another Box C into the system, and those tabled need to be replicated between A and C, it's BI-direct replication also. From previous project experience,do anybody know how many CPU usage will increase in BOX A after adding Box C? thanks for your time.
There is no concerns absolutely there! Even your current CPU usage is 90-100%, there would be not a issue for ER update anywhere! Even the 100 replicated tables will be very busy! Go for it and you will see that!
