Capacity of dbspaces/chunks
Answered: amber (solid confidence) — Direct, unambiguous answer: onstat -d reports chunk/dbspace size and free space (in pages); Art Kagel adds a third-party dbsavail utility for totals by dbspace. No confirmation from asker but the answer is factually complete.
Hi everybody !!!
I'm starting to manage the IUS 9.41.UC6, so excuse me if I ask some newbies'
questions.
I have four dbspaces, and each of them has only one associated chunk with
corresponding tables.
What is the command or utility to obtain the capacity (total and % used) of
the chunks and dbspaces of my database in order to know the status of my
disk space and aggregate more chunks if it's necessary ???
Thanks !!!

onstat -d will give you the size (in pages, *not* kbytes) and free space ineach chunk.

MY package utils_ak in the IIUG Software Repository contains the utility
dbsavail (both shell and executable versions) that will add up the chunks
and report totals by dbspace.
