Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
I am running Online 7.20 on HPUX 10.20. It is the database server for our SAP
R/3 application. It gets hit pretty hard.
I run onmode -F every half hour using this simple script. From time to time I
uncomment the onstat -g to monitor the results.
This script will miss if the database happens to be in another state (ie.
checkpoint required) but running every half hour, missing one run has never hurt
me.
