If you call a C function from a 4gl program you have to pop and push the stack from within your 4gl code....... There are library functions to assist in this process. popint(&i),popquote(str,len) popdtime(&dt,qual) then there are retint(i),retquote(str), and retdtime(&dt) and ther are still more.
