FW: Merry Christmas & Happy new year
Posted in 2005
For OTC- Kwanzaa: A week long celebration of the African roots of black people in America. It is loosely based on a tribal harvest festival mixed with Hanukah (light one candle each night, read a thought for contemplation), animism (offerings are made to dead ancestors) and ancient Egyptian religion (Ankhs, etc.). It was invented by Maulana Karenga. --EEM PS: Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Mele Kamikimaka, Joyeux Noël!
