LBU_PRESERVE

Hi All, I have set the LBU_PRESERVE parameter to 1 by onmonitor and restarted the Online to make it effective and found the parameter to be set to 1 in my onconfig file to 1. Here is a portion of my onconfig file output. LBU_PRESERVE 1 # Preserve last log for log backup OPCACHEMAX 128 # Maximum optical cache size (Kbytes) HETERO_COMMIT 0 But whenever I am running oncheck -pr or -cr I am getting the following error Validating INFORMIX-OnLine reserved pages Validating PAGE_PZERO... Validating PAGE_CONFIG... ONCONFIG config file error on element LBU_PRESERVE. Value in reserved page: 0 Value in config file: 1 ----------------- Can you please help me what is the wrong with it and how should I proceed to set the LBU_preserve parameter. When you recycled your instance, you should have seen a line between the time of the recycle and coming online stating the parameter and the old and new value. Did you see this? If not, for some reason, the change did not take effect. The solution would be to recycle the instance after making sure the onconfig file is not open and locked by an edit (vi) session. Take care.
