Insert Text file in a Text field

Hello. I am trying to save a Text file in a text field in my database, but when i tried, Informix says to me that i need a blob type to insert in this field. who could do this? Thanks

What tool are you using to do the insert? I'M USING SQL IBM DATA STUDIO THIS IS THE SENTENCE OF SQL: INSERT INTO MY_TABLE VALUES (FILETOCLOB('URL','CLIENT')); I'M DOING IN SQL BECAUSE THE FILE IS IN MY PC AND NOT IN THE SERVER BECAUSE OF THAT I DONT USE THE FUNCTION LOAD. THANKS!
