Is there a command line syntax I could use to list all databases in a dbspace? I can test the existence of a specific database by attempting to open the database with a sql statement, but I want to display a list of all databases in the current instance of the engine. Any ideas? Thanks. Pierre Roussel roussel@zlogic.com

This is two different requests. Check out dbnames in the IIUG software archive (http://www.iiug.org) for all the databases in a given instance. For the databases in a given dbspace, you have to go messing around in the sysmaster database. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
