Why not go even further and use IBM's VisualAge For Smalltalk? Both the development environment and the underlying programming language are certainly more mature and more robust than in VAJ. :-) VAST is very well suited for developing client, server, and web applications. Thousands of organizations depend on it for their most critical apps.
