Error -25587

I have an ESQL/C app that is getting a 25587 error. I'm running On-Line 7.11.UC1, ESQL/C 7.11.UC1, and I-SQL 6.02.UC1 on an HP 9000/F20 with HP-UX 10.01. My sqlhosts file only contains an entry for an onipcshm server. The error happens every time I run a particular app but not system wide. This application isn't (shouldn't be) doing any low level net/shm/etc operations. The error message is as follows: -25587 Network receive failed. A system call has failed. Do a DISCONNECT and then check on the status of the server. See your UNIX system administrator for assistance. Does anyone have any explanation for this?
