Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
For the first time I tried to restore a dbspace from tape using the
ontape -r -D option. After the restore, onmonitor shows a status ofNP after the dbspace. I am unable to find information about this
status in the adminstrator's guide. How do I make this dbspace
active? When trying to access a table from this dbspace I get a
"Primary and Mirror Chunks are bad" error. I would be surprised if
there is a problem with the tape or tape device in the backup or
restore since DLTs are very reliable.
Thank you,
Steven Kurlander
