Re: oninit error

Girish: This file should have been linked into /usr/lib. Take a look at $INFORMIXDIR/etc/onlinefiles. In there it sould list the file name, the location of where it should be linked to and the permissions. Setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH in this case will not help, because the executable is owned by root. All dynamic libraries must be in /usr/lib. The other thing you could consider is re-running ./installonline again. This should set the links correctly.
