Sr. DBA/System Architect: Contract/Perm

Bare Minimum Skills Needed To Be Considered: =========================================== * 4 years minimum hands-on DBA experience with one or more of the following relational databases (the databases are ranked in order of preference): A. Oracle B. Informix C. Sybase D. Ingres * Must have good experience with: A. Data Modeling B. Logical and Physical Design C. Performance Tuning on Very Large Databases D. Strong UNIX Skills Other Skills or Experience that would be desirable: ================================================== A. Data Mining B. Data Warehousing Expectations About the Candidate: ================================ The selected individuals (there is more then one opening) will have high-level skills, mature personalities, leadership skills and very good business savvy. Other Job Requirements: ====================== * Ability to be willing to travel 50% of the time. This person would be assigned to consult to a project that could be anywhere in the US. The average assignment is 90 days. The person DOES NOT need to live in the Denver area and many of the other people the client has spend much less than 50% of their time traveling, because there is leeway to work out with the client the time that needs to be spent on-site and the time that could be spent working from home.
