I'm not clear what you are asking. If you mean "Can you prepare I4GL statements such as LET?", the answer is "No: you can only prepare SQL statements which are understood by the Engine". That excludes cursor manipulation statements (DECLARE, OPEN, FETCH, CLOSE, EXECUTE, etc), and exotica such as LOAD and UNLOAD (and INFO and OUTPUT and REPAIR TABLE and CHECK TABLE ...). If you are asking "How do you prepare statements?", then the answer is mostly in the manuals. You create a string variable with the required statement. You then use PREPARE to let the engine know about it, and depending on the statement type, you either EXECUTE the statement (all statements except SELECT and EXECUTE PROCEDURE for a procedure which returns data), or you DECLARE a cursor for the statement and then use either FOREACH or OPEN FETCH and CLOSE to collect the data.
