Illegal operation on DR

Hi, I have a problem with some SPL(Procedure) when launched on my secondary informix server (RSS), for all procedures SPL for example: select col1 into var_col1 from table1: an error in laucnhed telling me can not create temporary file and Illegal operation on DR, is there any way to bypass the problem, all my reports are executing procedures and functions which contain this kind of syntax "select col into variable from table". thanks
