Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

You really don't need NMAKE to run a New-Era program. For example,
if you wrote a New-Era application (project) that contained three
Window Painter programs (3 *.wif files) , you would also have
three *.4gl files in addition to three *.4gh as Window Painter
generates a .4gl and .4gh each time that you save a Window Painter
file. What you would do next is run the *.4gl's through the Source
Compiler to produce three *.4go's. Next, you would link all of the
4go files together using the following copy statement
copy /b file1.4go+files2.4go+filed3.4go program.4gi
Finally, you would run the Application Launcher on the .4gi file.
I used this method for a while until my company finally purchased C++.
Let me know what you think about New-Era.
