We have Informix workgroup server and would like to allow the Window NT server to control access. I've read and been told about the host.equiv file, but my understanding is this is to allow the machine to be trusted. I need the user to be trusted. The user can signon to any one of several clients depending on where they are assigned. Our clients use Windows 95 and Visual Basic. When we attempt to make a connection the ODBC drivers requests a user name and password even though I'm logged into the NT network. Is there a way to basically have a group of users that the Informaix database "trusts" and don't have to supply a user name and password? Shannon
