If I understand your question, you're asking if the archive reflects the state of
the database when the archive started or when it ended. The archive is a logically
consistent copy of the database as it existed at the time the archive started. Any
transactions that were started but not committed when the archive began are rolled
back after you restore from that archive. Thus, if your batch load started instead
at 10:50am and did not commit until it completed at 12:50pm, you still would have
no rows from your load after restoring from the archive. The manuals discuss how
the physical log is used to make all of this work.
