Informix: Informix cooked files filesystem layout

Hello, I have informix 14.10.FC8 running on RedHat Enterprise Linux version 8 and i am currently using raw disks for the database instance. I am planning to upgrade the system to RHEL9 and i know that support for raw drives is no longer supported by RedHat in that version and the raw drivers are even removed from the OS. I tested the upgrade on a testing server and i converted the disks from raw to cooked files. Everything work smoothly but i am just having some concerns about the production system. When i installed the instance i assigned 2 different disks, 1 disk for informix system dbspaces (rootdbs, tempdbs, physdbs, etc.) and 1 disk for data dbspace. Shall i keep the same logic for production? Meaning that i will create 2 different filesystems for the cooked files. Let me know if you want to elaborate more on the subject.
