NewEra and non-Informix backend??

I know that NewEra is ODBC compliant, which theoretically means a NE = client application should be able to work against any ODBC compliant = database. My question is, has anyone implemented NE, against a database other then = Informix?? If so, I would be interested in hearing from you, and about = experiences.
