switch/app/script(?) to cleanup dbschema.out???
Posted in 1997
It seems kinda strange that dbschema refuses to print out
human readable text on the views or table sql statements:
It all seems to be on one line!!!(0r 255 chars?).
OK. I'll take some cheese with that......
Does any one have suggestions, perl/sh scripts, etc., that
parses the dbschema.out stuff into some decent format, e.g.:
create view "some".table
(assy_type,
shift_date,
etc1,
etc2) as
select x0.item_nr,
etc,....
as opposed to
create view "some".table (assy_typ,shift_date,etc1,etc2) as select x1.item_nr,x1
,x1.desc ,x2.shift_date Ix0.timestamp ,x0.symptom_id ,x3.name ,x0.serial_nr ,x0.
part_number,x0.shift_date ,x0.shift ,x0.symptom_count ,x0.test_symptom_id ...
if not, I'll write my own....:=)
Thanks!
