Date problem with 6.0 tools

Help, We are in process--any moment-- of converting online 5.0 to Dynamic Server 7.1 with a parallel transition to 6.0 4gl. We are having difficulty with dates. We are getting errors in passing dates from a 4gl function to a 4gl report. This is long time working code for more than one developer and in more than one database. We are running on IBM rs6000 Online Dynamic Server 7.10.UC2 and I4GL 6.00 UE1. error is: FORMS statement error number -1210.
