Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi,
Is there any way to see how is the more durable query in informix between
thousand of querys?. I mean, i want to know if one query is lasting for 5
minutes, other 3...and i can not enable any trace.
Regards.

Without enabling sql trace you are just making it harder to get the
information. Enabling sql trace on Informix should have minimal impact if you
keep to the low/med setting.
One way would be to periodically just dump to flat files the output of "onstat
-g ses 0" ( or whatever onstat that gives the needed information ) and then
parse and aggregate for what you need, which is not trivial to do.
Another way is to see if the information you need can be extracted from the
tables sysmaster:syssqlstat, sysmaster:syssdblock and sysmaster:sysconblock .
Maybe there are more tables on sysmaster that can be used.
