Informix for Windows v4.01 probs again :(

THE PROBLEM : My company developed a large database application for a client at the end of last year usingg Informix for Windows v4.01 and after much frustration and soul searching trying to work around the bugs we have finally ended up with a product that is stable enough to go live with. This process involves moving the application from a test server to another larger, faster one that is capable of handling 30+ users without the users having coffee breaks between queries. We have copied all the 4go,4gi and frm files across to the new server and have replicated the windows environment and drive paths so there would not be any problems but... of course there is :) We are getting the message : share violation on drive g. and share violation on drive i. appearing when the 4gi's are run from our menu system.. The really wierd thing is drive g and i are not mapped on either server i.e. THEY DONT EXIST !!! We have determined the following differences between the old and new server : 1. The new server name is different from the old one, and 2. The new server is also running appltalk as well as Novell . Has anybody out there in cyberspace come across a problem similar to this or would perhaps have some idea's why this message would be appearing ??? We have talked to both informix and microsoft down hear but they havnt been too helpful.
