There is a function called sqgetdbs() that can provide the information that you request. While attending an OnLine for Database Administrators class we received a listing for 'prlogdb' written by Jim McCann, Informix and crediting Mark J. of Informix for the dbnames code. I will post the dbnames function if Informix doesn't mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ken Evilsizor Email: sdrc!cinnet!carsinfo!ken CARS Information Systems 4000 Executive Park Dr. Disclaimer: All opinions expressed are Cincinnati, OH 45241 definitely my own.
