Ok. Here's what I'm going to try. I need to do this as an SQL command.
The situation is that I want to:
INSERT INTO table (text_field) execute procedure xyz(var1, var2, var3);
SO!
CREATE PROCEDURE blah_blah_blah
SYSTEM run_4gl_prog_which_does_work_and_inserts_into_table
READ_from_table and RETURN.
DROP TABLE.
Where there's a will there's a relative.
