Post Upgrade ESQLC issue

IDS 11.50.UC6W2X2 ESQLC 3.50.UC6 After upgrading our dev server to 11.50.UC6W2X2 are developers hollered that they cannot compile .ec files anymore. I tried compiling one of the demo programs, $INFORMIXDIR/demo/esqlc/varchar.c and got the same errors as the developers. I am swamped with other issues pertaining to the upgrade and at the moment cannot look into this one - any help is appreciated. It looks like your developers are still seeing the older esql executables but looking at the newer header files. Check their login paths in /etc/profile, their private profiles, or other environment set up file. It could be as simple as that no ones has logged out and back in to reset their PATH to the new $INFORMXIDIR/bin Art Art S. Did you get this sorted out? What was the old version of ESQL/C that you were using before? Are you on HP-UX? Are you using the bundled C compiler - as opposed to the purchasable ANSI C compiler? Do you have a sufficiently modern C compiler installed? Are you able to establish whether the errors come from the ESQL/C compiler ($INFORMIXDIR/lib/esql/esqlc) or from the C compiler?
