crontab + ontape

Dear all, I would appreciate if you could answer some questions..about using ontape with crontab. Is it possible to use ontape with crontab? I tried to find a parameter to disable mount question of ontape but cannot find it. How do I direct ontape to do backup without answering the mount question because the tape is already in the drive?
