RE: RDS 7.2 on Solaris 9

Which 7.3 version was your var talking about? 7.30, 7.31, 7.32 and which release? Dont think it is a good plan to implement something which is not supported. We have been using 7.30 on a number of platforms for years without significant problems and are upgrading some customers to 7.32.UC2. We have not struck any issues as yet. What specific bugs are they talking about and when will they be fixed? RDS 7.20 will not talk to IDS using tcpip on Solaris 8 and 9. The OS tcp libraries are not compatable with pre IPv6 capable products (RDS 7.20). You will need to communicate using shared memory.
