Migrating ESQL from Unix to Windows NT

Hi everyone, I'm new to this group, so I'll apologise in advance for any lack of etiquette you're all used to. My question is thus: I've just migrated an Informix On-Line database running on a HP-UX server to an SE server running standalone on NT4. I've also migrated the NewEra GUI. Along with the GUI are hundreds of thousands of lines of code in ESQL/C which I also need to port. This code needs to be modified for DOS ie slash directions, copy commands etc. How would I go about recompiling from scratch on the PC? I don't know whether to do it in application builder, from the command line or in Visual C++. The ESQL code has to be built into an executable. Can anyone tell me the stages I must carry out to achieve this please? I am totally new to Informix so even basic stuff would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Wicksey
