Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I would like to create the ODBC data source (DSN) automaticly and
found the MS tools odbcconf.exe.
But the statement
odbcconf.exe /a {CONFIGSYSDSN "IBM INFORMIX 3.82 32 BIT"
DSN=INFORMIX;Description=Demo;SERVER=idsifx;DATABASE=stores7"}
or
odbcconf.exe /a {CONFIGSYSDSN "IBM INFORMIX 3.82 32 BIT"
DSN=INFORMIX|Description=Demo|SERVER=idsifx|DATABASE=stores7"}
does not work !
Ist the syntax correct ?
Or do you know another tool ?
We use Client-SDK 2.8x .
