What's more, in the "Informix-OnLine Dynamic Server Administrator's Guide, Volume 1" version 7.1 December, 1994 (part number 000-7778), in the chapter called "Managing Tables", on page 15-24, we find a reference to Chapter 10 of the infamous "Tutorial"--only now it's not even there! So even though the other manuals still insist that table space calculations are in the Tutorial, don't believe them. I wrote the doc team about this using the postage-paid card in the back of the book. (Of course, that only works in the US. Sorry, Kerry.) :) Clem __________________________________________________________________ | Clem Akins Standard Disclaimers Apply | |Reynolds Metals Co, Alloys Plant "Climb High, Cave Deep!" | | Muscle Shoals, Alabama USA cwakins@leia.alloys.rmc.com | |________________________________________________________________|
