Help with compiling

Hello Netters. I am real sorry for the repost. I missed some information in the earlier one. Sorry about that. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello netters, I have a esql/c source file that compiles as a standalone. If nothing is linked to it and if I use the esql script it compiles with out any problems. Now my task is to integrate with some other Xm (motif code). I compile it in the following steps: STEP 1: esql -c db_gui_interface.ec -I/usr/local/uimx2.0/include -I/usr/lib/DXM/lib -I/usr/include/X11 -I/usr/lib/DXM/lib/Xt This step works file it compiles to db_gui_interface.o with out any errors. STEP 2: I link the .o file that I obtained earlier with other .o files to make an executable file as follows. cc biis.o welcome_biis.o categories.o query_window.o hitbrowser.o category_aux.o llist.o db_gui_interface.o -L/usr/lib/DXM/lib/Xt -L/usr/lib/DXM/lib/Xm -L/usr/local/uimx2.0/lib -L/usr/informix/lib/esql/libsql.a -luimx -lXm -lXt -lX11 -lm -o biis The following are the error messages: ld: Undefined: _iqlocate_cursor sqlca _iqdbase _iqcdcl _iqdcopen _iqcftch _iqslct _iqclose _iqfree rgetmsg *** Error code 1 Stop. WELL! I linked the object files with libsql.a, where is it picking this stuff from. Am I missing something? Are there anyfiles that I need to link along with that?? OPTION 2: _________ I tried passing the esql/c code just through the preprocessor using the -e flag which generates the .c file and I am compiling the .c just like a other file and link as shown above. I get the same set of errors? Configurations: ESQL/C 5.00 Standard Engine 5.00 Running on DEC Ultrix 4.2a I am sure I am missing something? Could any knowledgeble netter let me know about that.
