HP has added a separate process group type that permits Informix-like noaging to work, but I don't know if those particular versions of the Informix engine have the updates to work with it; in other words, you may have a version of Informix that gets its priority lowered as time goes on. Your Informix representative may or may not know anything about it; I know about it mainly because we worked with (aka fought with) HP and Informix for two years trying to get it fixed, or at least to get a workaround. -- William Harris
