If you convert to dates from text in SQL (conversion done by the engine) and use 2-digit years you will be stuck in the 20th century. If your applications convert text to dates or you always feed SQL 4-digit years you will have no problems that I know of with SE. You may have problems with your applications. Having said that, I do not know what happens on 29 Feb 2000 with 5.2 SE.
