The patch. The one problem with QA ed releases is that they can touch too many parts of the system to be installed without requiring a full QA on our part. A good many shops don't have this problem, but we've been burnt too many times. If Informix would deliver a /complete/ list of bugs fixed in a release (especially a c4gl/esql release) it would help (there are many times we've found our code to be unwittingly bug-complient with Informix). If they'd give us a list of bugs introduced (like the archiving failures in 5.03->5.07) that would be even nicer (and very unexpected)! Just my 2 cents... -Richard
