The idea of this feature for upgrade of an operational HDR pair is this: 1. remove the necessity to take a level 0 archive after converting to a new IDS version. 2. allow upgrade of an HDR pair without restoring HDR secondary server from level 0 backup. To what extent this will be implemented and how is not yet decided. BTW: You surely mean " The Key Features in IDS Version 'Next' " (rather than Version 10.00 which already is GA).
